NEW Timetable – 20th July onward
Herne Bay – change to Saturday classes
HERNE BAY CLASSES – Saturdays
Due to numbers I have made a small tweak to the JUNIOR & ADULT timetable.
From this week (18th July) they will now run as follows:
- Juniors: 9:45 – 10:30am
- Adults: 10:45 – 11:30am
You do not need to alter your bookings if you have made them already.
REMEMBER: if your membership is for 2+ classes per week (not including Black Belt Club / Weapons) then you are allowed to book in to 2 classes per week (not on the same day).
The Wednesday timetable will remain as it is for now.

12th July – update from Master Finch

Ashford Classes re-starting on 21st July
After all the wait we can announce that classes in Ashford will re-start on Tuesday, 21st July 2020.
More details will be announced very soon once we have put into place all the necessary safety measures and finalised the timetable – watch this space!

NEW Timetable starting this week (6th July) – UPDATE
We are very excited to be heading into a new phase of our return to classes with the launch of face-to-face class in Herne Bay. For all the details of these classes please refer to:

There is one small change to the new timetable – there will no longer be any classes on a Friday on Zoom.

8th July onward – NEW FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES
Face-to-face classes starting 8th July in Herne Bay
Due to the recent lifting of restrictions we are very pleased to announce the opening of our first face-to-face classes since the COVID-19 lock-down.
As you would imagine, there are some very important safety concerns and procedures that we have put in place to protect both students and instructors.
The face-to-face timetable will start from Wednesday, 8th July and will run as follows:
VENUE: Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, Herne Bay
WEDNESDAY:
- Mighty Matts: 4:30pm
- Juniors 1: 5:15pm
- Juniors 2: 6:00pm
- Adults 1: 6:45pm
- Adults 2: 7:30pm
SATURDAY:
- Mighty Matts: 9:00am
- Juniors 1: 9:45am
- Juniors 2: 10:30am
- Adults 1: 11:15am
- Adults 2: 12:00pm
These classes will be streamed live on our “MF Kent Online Training” Facebook group page.
Important points to note:
- Please read the safety guidelines that are available in the login section of this website or on our Facebook group pages or on your school Whatsapp group.
- Students must book their space in advance (“Book Appointment” button on the bottom left of this web-page)
- Classes are limited to 10 x students maximum
- Juniors & Adults have 2 x choices for each day
- Students can only book 1 x class per week
We appreciate that there are many students who may not be able to travel for these classes – thank you for your patience. As soon as we can we will be opening up in your area. If you can travel you are more than welcome to attend.

NEW Online Timetable & 1-2-1’s (29th June – 3rd July only)
PHASE 2: the next step towards a return to face-to-face classes
From 29th June onward we will be running a new timetable for online classes as well as our 1-2-1 sessions. The new schedule will include Zoom classes 4 x per week (Tuesday – Friday).
This new schedule is designed to help students and families ease back into more of an evening routine, no too dissimilar to our usual class timetable when we are in our venues.
Please note the following:
- Students are welcome to attend 1 or more of the Zoom classes per week
- There will be no more Facebook live classes on a Saturday morning
- There will be no more 1-2-1 sessions after Friday, 26th June (except for those students who currently have 1 x session per week)

Online Grading – huge success
On Saturday, 13th June we held our very first online colour-belt grading due to the COVID-19 challenges we are all facing.
To be able to get all our students up to the level expected has been a huge achievement not only from our Instructing team but also, more importantly, for the amazing students and families that have shown so much dedication and determination to continue. The success of the day was down to you all!
We are delighted to say that the standard was absolutely exceptional across all age groups. When training or grading online there really is no hiding place or anyone to refer to and hep. Students have to find another level of confidence and belief and this came through in abundance.
Belts and certificates are being ordered as we speak and I am very much looking forward to getting those out to all successful students very soon.
The training and learning continues and I will see you all very soon.

Online Grading Registration
Online Colour-belt Grading – 13th June 2020
GRADING DAY INFORMATION: Registration
Congratulations to all our students who have been invited to attend the upcoming online Grading on 13th June .
Please note there is a small change to the timetable to enable us to assess everyone efficiently and with quality assessment time:
Mighty Matts
9:30am
Juniors & Adults:
White – Orange belts: 10:15am
Green belts & above: 11:15am
REGISTRATION & PAYMENT:
To register for the Grading you must:
- Read & understand the online grading guidelines
- Read the “COLOUR-BELT APPLICATION FORM – ONLINE” (found in the Files section of the Facebook page or by logging into this website)
- Make payment online using the following as a reference: Student name_Belt
- Payment must be received no later than Thursday, 11th June 2020 (you will not be able to attend if you have not paid online in time)
- Once we have received payment confirmation you will receive the login details via text.
- Have your Grading Book ready to show on the day
ALL DOCUMENTS & INFO CA BE FOUND ON THE “MF KENT ONLINE TRAINING” FACEBOOK PAGE.
Payment details are on the application form (you do not need to worry about printing this off).
