The file can be found in the “Grading” section – simple login and select “Gradings” from the drop-down menu.

For the first time we saw Gradings for our colour-belts and senior grades all on one day and it certainly did not disappoint.
Everyone in every class has been working so hard for the last few weeks and it really did show in the level and attitude on the day.
In the morning we saw our hugely excited Mighty Matts show some incredible concentration and energetic drills, much to the delight of Mr Harris our Grading examiner. This was followed by our Juniors and Adults who worked extremely hard – showing the results of some really dedicated training.
After a short break it was the turn of our Panel Grading students (Red-Stripe & above) and it was certainly an impressive performance by everyone. This Panel Grading in particular was one of the toughest challenges our students have faced and we had plenty of sweat and tears, pushing the boundaries of even our most seasoned students.
Each and every candidate gave 100% throughout and it was an absolute pleasure to see everyone achieve what they have.

For those students thinking about and training towards the Colourbelt Grading on Sunday, 26th June please note that we have had to change this date.
The next Colourbelt Grading will now take place on Sunday, 3rd July (this is the same date as the Panel Grading).
We are currently awaiting confirmation of times for this day and will send those details out as soon as we have them.

Sunday, 13th March saw the first Kent Panel Grading for 2016 and what a fantastic start to the year it was.
A total of 37 students participated from both Mr Harris’s Schools and the MF Kent family and the standard across the board was fantastic!
After months and sometimes years of dedication & hard work it was wonderful to see all of you show just how great you are and earn your well-deserved promotions.

Colour-belt Gradings & Master-classes
The last colour-belt Grading is soon upon us and everyone that is due to grade should have been tagged and given all the necessary instructions for this special day. There are still a few lessons left so keep working hard and enjoy the journey.
Here are the timings for the day:
Master-classes
The master-classes are FREE and open to each and every student, whether Grading or not. THESE MASTER-CLASSES WILL REPLACE THE NORMAL CLASSES IN CHILHAM & CANTERBURY
There will be no Chilham class or classes in Canterbury in the evening that day.
There will be a (free) training session to give all appropriate students the experience and understanding of what is involved in a Panel Grading.
Attendance does not guarantee being put forward for the upcoming Panel Grading on 4th October, however it will be a brilliant training opportunity to sharpen your skills and let you know where you are in your training plan.
Saturday, 1st March saw a small and dedicated group of students take part in the first Grading of 2015 for MF Kent.
