Holiday class timetable – STAPLEHURST

All classes will be held in the main school building this evening (the same hall we run the Sunday classes).

NEW Grading Procedure for 1st Degree & above
Following a review of how the MF Organsation tests our current Black Belts there will be a small change to the logistics of testing candidates from 2020 onward.
From next year ALL candidates who are currently 1st Dan & above will be required to attend one central location for testing. Here are the details:
Dates: 21st March & 26th September only
Venue: North Solihull Sports Centre, B37 5LA
Time: 1:00 ~ 5:00pm
For: candidates who are currently 1st Dan & above only
Application form: there will be a separate Black Belt Application form which will need to be handed in prior to the Grading.
All other requirements for testing will remain the same. Please note:
Class timetable over the Christmas period
8th December – Grading Day (Canterbury)
ALL classes outside of these dates in December and January will run as normal.

International Championships 2020 – Bath University
After months of preparation, hard work, highs and lows we finally made the journey to Bath for the Matt Fiddes International Championships. This was the biggest and most exciting championships to date with over 650 competitors from as far afield as Australia!
We may have been small in number but the spirit with which we competed was outstanding. There were some excellent performances across the board and I think it is true to say that each and every team member did their very best.
As usual, out intrepid team of parents, friends and Instructors were incredible and a huge part of the MF Kent Team success. Thank you one and all.

Our championships are open to ALL students, all ages and all locations so it would be fantastic to see more of our wonderful students from all over Kent. Look out for the dates for 2020 and all the training days we have available just for the team.
All classes are running as normal this week (21st – 27th Oct) and we look forward to seeing you all there.

These will now run from the PRIMARY SCHOOL during the school holidays at the following times:

NEW SCHOOL HOLIDAY VENUE

Usually, we move our classes to the Village Centre during the school holidays. However, I am delighted to say that we will now be staying at the Primary School .
We will keep to the earlier timetable with a couple of small changes:
All classes will remain in the Junior Hall.
DATE FOR YOUR DIARY
Due to the International Championships being held in Bath as well as National Instructor Training over this period there will be no classes on Thursday, 7th November 2019.
Training with Grandmaster Murphy & Master Fiddes

This session is open to all Instructors and Junior Instructors aged 13yrs & above.
